The term period lasts for 1 year and auto-renews for 1 year if you do not terminate 30 days prior to the renewal date. After termination, there’s also a 1 year retention period on all songs registered during your term. This means that after you terminate, you’re free to register new songs with another publisher, but we’ll continue to collect royalties on the songs you’ve already registered with us for another year. You will be paid during term and retention periods and are not at risk of losing any royalties.
